Working from my home studio in Sherwood, Oregon, I create unique mixed media mosaic art using hand cut recycled glass, paper and other found treasures.
My love for glass started at the age of twelve in the basement of my Grandmother's house. She inspired me to explore my creative side as I helped cut and grind pieces for her stained glass projects. I try to express my love of color, texture and movement with each creation while throwing in words of inspiration or whimsy here and there. It brings me great joy to transform old and discarded items into something new, beautiful and unexpected.
Mosaics are my passion, and I find that my art is in a constant state of evolution as I explore the never ending possibilities of mixed media.
